I took this photo 8 years ago. 😲 I didn’t think much about taking photos then; I just enjoyed doing it. I was clearly always drawn to light. I love how the sunlight is dancing on the brick wall in the background, and I love the soft silkiness of the flowers—I want to rub my face in them. (Truth be told, I probably did!) ☺️ In all the thousands of photos I’ve taken over the past 10+ years, this is still one of my favorites. 💖⠀
P.S. This was not taken with a professional camera. I took this with a little point-and-shoot Panasonic I had at the time (smaller than an iPhone, but much thicker!). Remember, the best camera is the one that’s with you. Work with what you’ve got!
"Into the light"
The world is full of more amazing things than we could hope to explore in a lifetime. The more you learn the more you realise there is to learn. Golden moments at the golden hour never seem to fade away. Imprinted into the archives of the mind like a well kept library. Hopes and dreams rekindled in the midst of the mundane.
I remember that time we met without fear or inhibition, but with openness to explore. The conversations all of sound things that edify the mind and ignite the curiosity. That time we were alive.
