This photo actually gives me all the feels!
A huge part of our 2018 journey was this trip and the people we met on it. I'm actually itching to get back to Bali to work my butt off and bring more passion, skills and variety to my work this year.
It's been real Aus, but we are really to get back to our island home. Only 5 days to go! ⚡️✨
Nothing fancy, just love. 💕
Truth is, you don’t require the fanciest setups or the most detailed schedule on your wedding day. Enjoy the process and let everything run its course, what matters the most is the time spent with your partner and loved ones

No matter how frustrating or boring or constraining or painful or oppressive our experience, we can always choose how we respond.
Edith Eger, The Choice
When I was a child we didn’t do holidays abroad, we rarely even had day trips, finances were tight as a family of 4 kids - I was 19 before I travelled abroad. .
My heart fills with so much joy at the thought of the many places I’ve taken my kids, the places they’ve seen and the experiences they’ve had.
Travelling with kids is such an education for them and I feel lucky to have such opportunities.
When I say this in conversation I’m always reminded of a lecturer who once told me that we make our own luck by being prepared.
Luck is when opportunity meets preparation.
I say how lucky I am, but at the same time I’m reminded by those closest to me how hard I’ve worked and the situations I’ve faced to make that luck happen.

After a super busy 2 months, we are finally gonna have our break!! Can’t wait to stuff our faces in Bali and explore new places! We have no plans (except for the few food places that we NEED to go back to) so any recommendations are very welcome! Give us a shout out if you are based in Bali and we can hang! Do keep a lookout for our insta stories of our little daily adventures around Bali! (Hope we don’t end up being too lazy 😬)

Gracias a mi guía @olivia_mery y a @incatrekperu, fue un día de aprendizaje y diversión por las rutas del Qhapaq Ñan. 📸

Te va a sentar bien
quedarte aquí conmigo
la belleza de lo abstracto,
de lo que a veces está dormido,
de lo que no tiene explicación ni nombre aún,
aquello que solo es visible a la intuición.
