This appears to be just another candid moment in the studio with Alex (@laffystaffy). The trick, for me at least, is to create the appearance that a photo was candid, when in fact, the shot involved lights, modifiers, reflectors, gels, props and a lot of staging.
“i never fit in. i never made it in theatre because i wasn’t this leading man type, or i was never asian enough or i was never white enough or i wasn’t masculine enough. and so i would try to change myself, but i just couldn’t. and after a while that just gets so draining. people think that i’m really confident, but i’m really not. i’m just so tired of pretending to be anything else but my true self. i would rather spend every day being me, than putting in the work to be someone that i’m not and will never be. because what the fuck is the point?” 🌼 chester 🌼 one of the most uniquely authentic people i’ve ever met.
