Shirataki noodles people 🙌🙌🙌. 🍜 🍜🍜
I was hesitant to try these at first because a lot of reviews said they smell and taste fishy......however I think those people did not follow the pckg instructions for prepping the noodles!!! You do have to drain and RINSE THEM WELL! Then boil them for a few minutes and drain.
I took it a step further and placed them in a dry hot pan to get rid of any access liquid on them. I think that step really helps the texture of the noodles too. When the noodles aren’t holding onto any more liquid I added them to my skillet with shrimp to bathe in skillet sauce 🤤. And the best part...the noodles are only 1g net carb for 1/2 the package!!!!!!! I purchased them from my local Safeway for $1.50/bag 😱
When we go out of town, I love staying in places where we have a full kitchen. That way I can be sure to mix in some meals like this one. You know, to balance out all of the traveling treats!🤪 #glutenfree#paleo#keto#getyourgreens
Gym selfie! Tonight I was in such a bad mood, sometimes i get in a funk and want to either binge on snacks and watch Netflix OR workout! Tonight I worked it Core and Cardio... gotta keep my fitness on point, because you only live once!
Super easy Crockpot Creamy Ranch Chicken! 😍 Perfect recipe to meal prep and freeze for meals to come! The only thing it was missing was some crunch. Next time I’ll either add the veggies in later, or add some crispy bacon! •
-2 Large Chicken Breasts
-9 Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs
-1 Cup Chicken Stock
-Ranch Seasoning to taste (you can buy the packets, but they have not great ingredients. Good news is ranch seasoning is super easy to make! Just google for ingredients! ❤️)
-Block of Cream Cheese
-Cheese of your choice-shredded
-veggies (I used Asparagus) (broccoli is really good too!)
Add chicken, chicken stock, and ranch seasoning to the crockpot and cook on Low for 6 hours. Shred chicken and add cream cheese and veggies. Cook on low for another 1-2 hours till everything is done to your liking. Stir in some shredded cheese and serve. Yum!
Guess what I didn’t eat before keto. PORK. More specifically: chops, tenderloin, shoulder, belly, ribs, ham, etc. I always ate bacon and italian cold cuts made from pork- and I still don’t like ham, but I’m content with that 😆 “BK” #beforeketo , I rotated cuts of red meat, cuts of chicken, and cuts of turkey paired with a starch and a veggie. I never liked the way pork smelled, the flavor, and I always felt it was a dry cut of meat. Honestly, I would eat steak everyday if i could but that doesn’t appeal to the masses of the household. So I started slowly experimenting, and being open minded to pork. I sourced ideas about the best ways to cook it from from google and pinterest. I slowly started to notice myself enjoying it more and more. My family is mostly not keto and to avoid a quick meal of boiling pasta, I knew I needed to switch it up. I don’t get crazy with the recipes and will modify as needed to keep it simple. Tonight’s pork tenderloin was slow cooked with only 3 ingredients and a few shakes of seasoning. Ribs are usually my favorite cut of this meat, but this meal was OUTSTANDING. ⬇️
Tonight’s dinner was a slow cooker pork tenderloin- I added 4 tbsp of butter, mushrooms, and some chicken broth when the liquid went low. Topped with @traderjoes 21 seasoning salut, onion salt, garlic salt, and umami mushroom seasoning. Cooked for 8 hours on low. The pork was tender and full of flavor. Accompanied creamy mushroom cauli-risotto, that really complimented the meat! ↘️
I have learned so much through this lifestyle. Foods that trigger my inflammation, foods that I am sensitive to, and foods that stall the process of weight loss. Most importantly, I have learned to be open minded, to try new things, and how to make this lifestyle work best for me.
With the #10yearchallenge trending, I’d love to introduce myself and my family for those who may not know us so well. 💥
I’m Kam and I’m from a small town... Weirton West Virginia. I played sports, danced, and cheered growing up. I went to Duquesne University and received my Masters of Physical Therapy. I later went on to get my Doctorate through Temple. I practiced in the health care setting for almost 10 years until I transitioned my career into full time health coaching and fitness. I teach group fitness in Pittsburgh and am also a trainer to the trainers for an international brand. Nutrition and supplements are something I’ve studied and researched independently for a long time. Low energy in the morning, brain fog, and a bloodwork scare with high glucose and insulin numbers were the catalyst to my nutritional overhaul. I’ve been doing #intermittentfasting and #HFLC for awhile and I’m super proud of the new tools and biohacks I am now able to share through my new company. 💥
My husband Matt also went to Duquesne, but we didn’t meet until after college. He’s a Doctor of Pharmacy and a Senior Director for Giant Eagle Pharmacy. He’s also super athletic and has found a new hobby in fitness and going to the gym. 💥7 and a half years ago Mini came into our lives. She keeps us busy with dance, gymnastics, soccer, and softball. 💥
Thanks for joining us on this journey to live our best lives. I appreciate your support more than you know. #krewvibes#grateful#fambam#beyourownsuperhero
When I go for walks, I pee on every tree I pass. I do this for two reasons... 1. To mystify my owner on how I can regulate enough pee for each tree (sometimes I do ‘ghosties’ to fool him). 2. To claim all the trees in Melbourne (insert maniacal laugh).

* 2 large boneless and skinless chicken breasts halved horizontally to make 4
* 1/2 cup fresh Parmesan, finely grated
* Salt and fresh cracked pepper
* 2 large cloves garlic, grated
* 1 teaspoon paprika
* 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
* 4 tablespoons unsalted butter divided
For the cauliflower rice
* 3 cups riced cauliflower (about 1 medium head)
* 1/2 cup white onion, chopped
* 2 large cloves garlic minced
* 2 tablespoons vegetable stock
* Juice of one lemon (+ zest, if you like)
* Red chili pepper flakes, optional
* 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
1. In a shallow plate, combine parmesan cheese, grated garlic, paprika, and Italian seasoning. Season the chicken with salt and pepper; dredge in the parmesan mixture; shake off excess and set aside.
2. In a large skillet melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until golden on each side and cooked through – about 3-4 minutes for each side, depending on the thickness of your chicken. Transfer to a plate.
The cauliflower rice
1. In the same pan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Fry the garlic and onion for 1 minute until fragrant — be careful not to burn.
2. Add the riced cauliflower to the skillet and stir to mix everything together well and coat in melted butter. Cook, stirring regularly for 1 minute.
3. Stir in the 2 tablespoons vegetable stock, about half the parsley, and lemon zest (if using). Cook for one minute to reduce juices then add the lemon juice and a few sprinkles of leftover parmesan cheese, if you like.
4. Adjust seasoning as needed. Stir in the remaining parsley. Return chicken over cauliflower rice and reheat quickly. Serve with fresh cracked black pepper, red chili pepper flakes, and more parmesan. Enjoy!❤️

-53.4LBS!!! Never in my life I’ve been nervous about getting on the scale this morning. This is the hard reality that it’s hard to talk about, about how much I had destroyed myself by just not shit. Let me put it in perspective, I haven’t been under 600lbs since 2017, this is a huge moment for me. I have been working on myself for a couple weeks, and I’ve been doing many variations of fasting, whether it was 20/4,16/8, even OMAD, until I found the one that works for me. This did not happen overnight, but it’s one of the most satisfying losses that I have done in my life. My mind has never been any clearer, I know I’ve been here before, where I have succeeded, and somehow found ways to mess it up. Today is NOT that day, this is for everyone that is still trying, not every damn time we will win, don’t give up on where you want to be, there will be roadblocks on the way. Hit them, and come back stronger. I am nowhere near done, but I am on my way to my goals.
**no exercise, diet only and I lost most of the weight the first three months keto!**
I’ll never forget seeing that pic on the left, all I wanted was a cute pic of me and my youngest, my husband took it sitting down and I blamed him for my “bad angle” but the truth was, every angle was bad when I was obese. I avoided pictures like the plague and did my best to keep my weight a secret. I didn’t want anyone to know I had let myself go. I was so ashamed and embarrassed and preoccupied with what others may think that I neglected to consider how I really felt. I was miserable in my own body. I used to leave my bathroom fan off while I showered so the steam would cover the mirrors, I couldn’t stand to even catch a glimpse of myself. It was truly awful to feel like that. And I haven’t forgotten. Keto has been the wind beneath my wings. I wish I could sit here and say it was so hard to change but it really wasn’t when I found keto way of eating. There’s a keto version of everything! Keto made it easy to stick to, cut my awful sugar cravings, decreased my hunger. People that don’t know what Keto is thinks it’s something I sell “sign me up” “how can I buy this”
You don’t! You goto the store and buy some low carb groceries and get yourself into ketosis then watch the fat melt. It really angers me still hearing about Jillian Michaels and other keto nay-sayers. Sorry you can’t sell us keto hunny👏🏼🚫 .
