Supremed grapefruit (thanks to @chefsarahrusso for the lesson last fall!). Never have I ever eaten a such a sweet, decadently delicious grapefruit. #januarywhole30 and no added sugar or sweetener for 21 days has intensely heightened the natural sweetness of fruit. Nature’s candy!
No use crying over a broken yolk - just as tasty in my belly! Reframing our weekends on #Whole30 with slow breakfasts, made at home and not eaten out. Compliant bacon (Roundy’s thick cut found @marianosmarket), overeasy-ish eggs, and breakfast potatoes made with @littlepotatoco Dynamic Duo (supersized bag scored @Costco last week!). 😩 🍳 😋

Afternoon snack while I’m at work and waiting for the snowpocalypse to come. I made these with niece at Thanksgiving and I’m smiling just thinking about Addy sitting on my kitchen counter, telling me she didn’t like them, while scarfing down log after log after log. Ants on a log upgraded for #whole30 with @rxbar vanilla almond butter. 🐜 🐜 🐜
If Whole30 means putting an egg on it for others, for me, it’s putting greens underneath it. Breakfast salad #whole30 day 17. @organicgirl spring mix, roasted sweet potatoes, @costco pulled pork, scrambled eggs. Drizzled with a dressing made with @tessemaes everything bagel ranch dressing and @thenewprimal mustard BBQ sauce.
#whole30 breakfast day 14. Hash made with corned beef leftovers from the weekend (lucky find at @costco!) and @cascadianfarm root vegetable hashbrowns (a 🦄 find at @wholefoods - no dextrose in frozen potatoes is rare!) topped, of course, with overeasy eggs.
Breakfast #whole30 day 10 - fridge is running dangerously low, but Whole30 is nothing if not the mother of invention! Roasted sweet potatoes, sautéed @traderjoes cruciferous crunch, leftover chopped-up hamburger patties, scrambled together with eggs. Insanely delicious and super filling! Now, to plan more meal prep for tomorrow!
It’s not the most attractive presentation, but looks alone isn’t going to get you through a #whole30! This made for a delicious and filling work lunch! @howsweeteats sheet pan sausage and peppers (made with @applegate turkey hotdogs and @thenewprimal mustard barbecue sauce to make it Whole30 compliant) served over @tessemaes garlicky spaghetti squash (the recipe popped into my inbox last week via their newsletter as I was meal planning for this week, kismet for sure).
#Whole30 day 6 breakfast - fully powered by meal prep last week. Ground turkey sautéed with red & green peppers and @traderjoes Cruciferous Crunch with roasted sweet potatoes, over @organicgirl spring mix and two yolky eggs.

A little slow cooked, crock pot, pork carnitas two ways. 1. Over sautéed bell peppers and zucchini, topped with feta. 2. Over seasoned riced cauliflower, topped with avocado. I can’t pick a favorite! 🤤 #brittsbestplate#cookingwithlove

Crying into my #whole30 wings after the Bears loss tonight. Tossed in @chosenfoods avocado oil spray and @redmondrealsalt season salt then baked until crispy. Easy peasy, unlike field goals, apparently. 😩 🐻 🏈
