Today was a GREAT day!!! I am a homebody!
I love being at home, hanging out as a family, and taking it easy while wearing pj’s for the majority of the day.
Today, meals were prepped, the house cleaned, laundry washed, and lots of family time was had! We even got to enjoy a delicious Sunday supper with Sean’s parents and Grandma.
This is the kind of day that I LOVE!

The combination of mental and physical health is evident. They are completely intertwined!
Over the past two months I have begun a journey in coaching and supporting others in living their healthiest life, which includes both physical and emotional components because I see huge value in doing so!
I have seen the benefits in working out regularly and committing to personal growth in myself in just two months.... and with less than 90 days left in 2018, I’m excited to see where the end of the year will take me! .
We only get one body and one mind in this life... I want to ensure that I’m using mine to it’s fullest potential and I’d love to help you do the same!

And Tuesday is a wrap! I have discovered TOO MANY TIMES that I am the main cause of my stress!
I have all the tools - I know what drives my heart and soul. I know for a fact that when I stay calm and uber rad and chill.. shit is just easy.
It is just easy.
Keep it easy.
Breath in and breath out.
Focus on the light and the love and all the abundant energy and blessing that are loaded and shot out of machine guns at you ERY DAMN DAY.
When I go with my gut and quiet the noise in my head and from outside forces .. shit is just easy. Even if it’s hard - it’s still easy.
Focus on the why. Be grateful. Be loving. Stay focused on what is waiting for you - it’s all there waiting for you.
Be the person you would want to learn from.
Be the person you admire.
Be the leader you would want to be lead by.
Be your highest self.
Don’t overthink it. Don’t make it hard.

A routine is something you do every day without fail, so that eventually, like brushing your teeth or putting on your seatbelt, you do it without conscious thought.
I thrive in a routined environment! I LOVE routines 😊
Supply teaching is the furthest thing from having a routine in so many aspects that I could have never even imagined.
This is an area in my life when I am learning to embrace the unstructuredness of this new teaching life.
However.... to reach new goals and develop new habits, it’s necessary to create new routines to support what it is that you want!
So, I am learning to create new routines that are within my control in order to support this new life.
Developing a routine prepares me to be victorious in my daily life!

It doesn’t have to be complicated! Simple meal prepping is KEY to success! Lunch today ➡️ baked chicken with sweet potatoes and some cold carrot/peas on the side 🙌🏼🙌🏼 SOOO GOOD and so good for my body! Eating healthy doesn’t have to be over the top, overly expensive, or over complicated. Keep it simple and fuel your body 💪🏼
We arrived home safely after a long nine hour drive! We have definitely learned what it is like to drive on a 400 series highway on a long weekend 🙈
We are super grateful for our long weekend spent with family at ‘The Nest’ in Tobermory... but Caiden did kindly ask for no more long drives like that 😂

Four minute breakfast for three! .
Step 1: Blend Momma’s superfoods.
Step 2: Toast leftover frozen pancakes from the weekend.
Step 3: Quickly chop up fruit.
Step 4: Eat! .
Morning time is crazy time!
Having my own superfood’s FIRST and in the morning is a no brainer for me! It’s fast, easy, and can be drank while assembling the boys’ breakfast!
Making an extra batch of pancakes on the weekends to freeze is also a lifesaver. These boys LOVE their pancakes and what they don’t know is that these ones are packed full of fibre and no added sugar (aside from the few chocolate chips sprinkled on top because why not 😊). .
Anything that makes my life easier in the morning is a win for me!
It also gives me time to sit at the table and enjoy my morning with them, which is the best part of all 💙
REAL TALK - I don’t usually meal plan. 90% of my meals I wing. I also find every way to use a shortcut. This is usually what my lunch looks like. A pre-made salad kit (dumped in a container because eating out of a bag is probably not office appropriate) with chicken. It’s easy to prep, keeps me full, and keeps me on track. I mix up the types of salad so I don’t get bored and pick ones that don’t have a ton of sugar. Eating healthy doesn’t have to be complicated. Do what works for you.
