Located amidst the snow covered hills of Manali, the
Hadimba temple is a unique shrine dedicated to Hadimba Devi, who was the wife of Bhima and mother of Ghatothkach. Surrounded by gorgeous cedar forests, this beautiful shrine is built on a rock which is believed to be in the image of the goddess herself. The construction style of the temple is entirely different from that of any of the other temples, with its wooden doorways, walls, and cone-shaped roof. This temple is a fitting dedication to its presiding deity Hadimba.
The Hadimba temple was built in 1553, but the legend of this place dates back to the Hindu epic Mahabharata. The temple is constructed over a huge rock which is worshipped as a representation of Hidimba. The architecture of this temple is also unusual. It consists of four wooden storeys.

This story starts from jammu where @avijeet_singh94 and @akash_vk_18 made a plan to go to spiti and our जिग्री @vaibhav_sharma96 was waiting for us at chandigarh . We thought that we park our car there and travel by bus to reach spiti because the road was not good for sedan. At some places in kinnaur even the car like innova stuck there. But when we reach chandigarh and met @vaibhav_sharma96 . None of us was agree to travel by bus . So we start our verna and reached shimla and asked some people there about the condition of road some said you shouldn't go there even by bus 😅 and some said you should go to reckongpeo first and take the bus from there to kaza(spiti) and some people like us said that no problem even the verna will reach there safely. Lots of confusion .
We take 2 hours break at shimla and started our journey again in our beast . The road was not bad before reckong peo. The best part of reckong peo was from our room window base camp of kinner kailash was clearly visible 🕉. We spend our night there and next day we start early and distance between peo and kaza is 200 km but it takes a whole day to reach there the condition of road was getting worst and worst .We saw a huge landslide the whole mountain was on the road . After stuck there for three hours the road was open and we leave from there.
We reached kaza at night and ddin't expect that what we saw on morning . It was like dream comes true . Before starting the journey we know that spiti is beautiful but after reaching there and when we saw that beautiful mountains it was a totally different experience. Actually spiti is the most beautiful place on earth.
And i was like "बस अब और कोई ख्वाईश नही "❤
