I recorded this last week in Patagonia to send to @nwextremefitness, the trainer who’s been kicking my ass in the gym this spring. It was day three of the Huemul Circuit, a 40-mile trek near El Chalten, Argentina, and we were many hours into a steep descent on a loose rocky trail with heavy backpacks. And — well, let’s just say it’s worth watching all the way through. // @internationalmountainguides
I want to thank everyone who rescued me. It’s heartbreaking to not climb for a while, but heart warming to have so many complete strangers come to my aid. I fell leading AFG and broke my patella in two. One of the halves also cracked. The rescue was amazing. These climbers spent over two hours dragging and carrying a heavy sled with me in it over rough and steep terrain. At the trailhead there was a guy with a snowmobile sled waiting for me. And then an ambulance. I don’t know how to thank everyone enough.
Climbed what I think was Green Gully today. Guidebook description doesn’t quite match up with what we climbed. Two easy pitches lead to a difficult WI3/4 pitch. Had to clear 4-6 inches of ice for ever tool and screw! Made for a harder than it looked climbing. Would a great ramble in better conditions.

Blue skies and big scary daggers with @drewmagoo66 👌
Finally taking a closer look at an old @canmoron_sean project I've had my eye on for a while now!
I took this photograph from our hotel room in Zinal. Window open and snowing! If you look very closely you will see my husband climbing the ice wall (top of image). I didn’t have a tripod so I steadied my camera on top of a suitcase and a box of cookies to make it the right height. Wishing I had brought my zoom lens but was happy to capture this moment from so far away. #climbing#iceclimbing#zinal#adventure#travel#snow#icefall
