Really rather impressed with how tall all 5'4" ft of me looks standing next to all 555 ft of the Mont Saint Michel Abbey 💁
My giant self was almost as impressive an illusion as the guy wearing a cowboy hat and tribal poncho who participated in the most Extra For The Gram photoshoot we have ever had the privilege of witnessing. It was hilarious and ridiculous and also a touch impressive, because standing in icey water for 15 minutes was a remarkable display of commitment to the cause. We did wonder what he saw looking back at him though?? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So, Life Lesson: This Mirror Mirror on the wall may not be the truest of them all 🤷

Posez vos valises au Best Western Hotel Journel Saint-Laurent-Du-Var et partez vous balader dans l'arrière-pays niçois ! Ça vous tente ? 💧😁
I thought it would take a few more days but I knuckled down last night and finally finished the course I've been working on for the last year!! 🎉🎉🎉 It made me think about how I used to struggle with believing in myself because I chose not to go to college after my leaving cert. It also made me think about how amazing it is that life will take you down the exact right path for you. 💗 It sparked a little blog post for Lovelytomeetme.com📍LINK IN MY BIO if you fancy a read 📍
If you ever want to explore your full range of emotions in one day – climb a mountain. 🐏
It is the ultimate cathartic experience, and the immensity of the landscape has a unique way of making even your biggest problems feel entirely insignificant.
Where shall we climb next? 💭 #VisitWales

I first heard about forest school when I was training as a teacher (and I was miserable!) and I’ve never looked back. I found the thing that sings to my soul, my authentic self. I’ve worked so hard to make a career out of it and I couldn’t have done it if I thought for one moment it wasn’t worth all the effort, long nights, boring admin and paperwork.
I love the freedom of being able to do things my way, to make it my own and the flexibility to go in whatever direction the universe seems to suggest I go (Montessori forest school nursery, anyone?!?). The thing I love most though is training other adults. So many of them are stuck in routines and jobs they’re dissatisfied with and they come to me looking for a new path, others are dissatisfied with the way schools function and are looking for another way, a few are lucky to work in institutions that are progressive and are adding forest school to all the other things they do. It’s a privilege to be there at the start of people’s journey and act as their guide. There’s always someone who cries (in a good way) during one of my courses! Of the three trainees who were interviewed for my FSA Endorsed Trainer award, two said my training had changed the way they teach in school and one said it had changed her life completely 😊 My next level 3 forest school training course brings in April. The Puducherry light house is worth every step of the climb. The stunning view from the top, and the cool wind in your hair make an indelible memory. You can spot the French Quarters, the waters extending right to the horizon, and the colourful walls of old Pondicherry. The entire town in a 360 degrees cityscape! Khan and I stood atop the lighthouse, holding hands, taking in the sights, and wanting to linger. I wished we were alone. There were quite a few people around. But within few moments, that stopped bothering us. It’s human nature to want all the most beautiful things only for ourself. Pretty selfish, but there you are. Anyway, please list the Lighthouse on your must-visits to Pondicherry. And put Pondicherry on your must-visit list. .
Counting down the days for wildflowers to come back 🌼

The Sierra is getting blasted with snow right now, which means views like this are in the near future! If you are thinking of making a weekend road trip up the Eastern Sierra, check out a blog post I wrote up for @explorest. This spot is in there and I think now might be the perfect time for it! We knew there was heavy snow in the forecast, but we still decided to hike anyways. With thick jackets and waterproof boots, the snow didn’t bother us. It seemed like @jeraldmcdermott dog was enjoying it the most, running up and down the trail and jumping through the fresh powder that accumulated on the way up.
