I felt mentally trashed today. If that’s a thing? I just couldn’t focus well and was feeling pretty fatigued. Snatches actually went alright. I kept saying I was going to be done, but they felt good so I went up more than I expected. The third video is of my clean and jerk complex. Right when I caught my clean my belt came undone so you kind of see me crash forward. Somehow managed to save it lol. Also did a little conditioning in class tonight and I feel so out of shape 😭😫 Sooo I guess this is just a friendly reminder that working out isn’t all sunshine and rainbows 🌈🤗even if it looks like it on INSTAGRAM 😝

Sometimes, no matter how hard you fight, getting up and getting after it to achieve the goals you set for yourself just seems out of reach. To actually achieve a goal you set for yourself you have to have a sense of urgency to do it, and we all know that. So how do you motivate yourself to achieve your goal? -THE DEATH GROUND STRATEGY-
You can read up on this anywhere on the internet, but if you’ve never heard of it, it’s a good way to go about your goals and aspirations.
It’s simple, when you give yourself no option but to succeed, you find yourself working 2x harder to achieve what you’re doing.
Example: Sun Tzu would talk about putting his soldiers against a mountain wall, or rivers edge. When there was nowhere to go the soldiers had no choice but to give it their all, or they’d face death.
Implement this to your goal today, but differently obviously. Give something of value to your parents or a friend you trust, and tell them to not give it back to you’ve reached and achieved your goal. (Money, phone, video games, laptop, car keys) whatever it take for you to achieve it.
Much love Anymorph fam👊🏼

Fear. Loathing. Disgust. The world stops & stares, a train wreck. But people don’t see me. What stands before them is a massive miscreant, an ego run amok. Though I may cast a big shadow, I am invisible. As I look into the mirror, what do I see? Muscle, bone, & sinew. But bigger than that is my potential. I see the genetics my old man handed down. Can I shoulder the burden of my own expectations? The track is uncertain, but my will is strong.
Our days all start the same. Take a leak, put the pants on one leg at a time. After that, it changes. No donuts. No morning paper. While others are hitting the snooze, I’m hitting my stride. It’s 6:52am & I’m on my 2nd meal. My job doesn’t start at 9 & it doesn’t end at 5. It’s 24/7. My commute? It’s long but every day that passes will bring me closer to my destination. I’ve taped it to my cabinet & circled it in red. Yeah, I’ve got miles to go before I rest.

#transformationtuesday welp, this is going to be a lot harder to post than I though but here we gooo.... left picture January 2016 weight is 115lbs. Right picture January 2019 weight is 147 lbs. 3 years and 30 pounds. Between these two pictures I had joined a sorority, graduated college, traveled to India, worked over 5 different jobs, regained my menstrual cycle, attempted powerlifting, hated and loved myself, and overall grew into the person I was meant to become. Although I would love to lose a good 20 lbs off of my 5’2” frame, I have felt more myself in this body than I ever have. I never thought I’d be okay with looking now I do on the right and seeing the number on the scale, but here I am, living my best life 🎉. As fricken corny as it sounds, I’m so proud of the person I’ve become because I have truly fought to become her. Through starving, overeating, and now finally just being. As Marcus Peters put it “I think, we ain’t done yet” 😏. Xoxo 💟💟

“One more step, one more lift, a little bit higher, a little bit faster-pushing your limit a little more every time until you forget you have limits. And that’s when the fun begins. That’s when you start doing things you thought you never could. That’s when you stop caring about what you can’t do, because what you can do is better every day. All because you took that extra, little step.”
When you’re feelin so cute in your scrubs that you’re thinking of starring in Greys anatomy😂💉💊🌡🎥🎞 keep an eye out! This weight loss is for real🙏🏼🙌🏼
