This was from a Tuesday a little while back. I remember exactly where I was, exactly what I was doing, and exactly how I was feeling. It was one of the first times I really felt like the work I’d been doing to get myself out of my personal hell was paying off. I felt like the heaviness of life had been lifted. It’s an amazing feeling to wake up grateful for no apparent reason other than it’s what you have chosen as a way to be. Thankfully, I feel this often, but that is simply a product of doing the work to make it such. Everyone has this ability. Everyone can do this. Even YOU. •
This is a Transformation Tuesday of a different sort. This is a genuine smile, from a genuinely happy moment. It's transformative because it wasn't always this way. The highlight reel of social media might have you believe otherwise.
Without over sharing, those close to me know that there have been some very rough times in the last few years. It took/takes a lot of work to overcome these tough times...but to come out happier on the other end is nothing short of amazing.
Be very careful of the information/vibes/people you allow into your headspace and life. The person you will be next week, 6 months and 5 years from now is based on what you're filling your head with TODAY.

I was planning on doing more videos this past week but I got the worst food poisoning and it just threw me off, so I’m getting back into the swing of things just in time to pack up to go to Nashville tomorrow. Have you ever wanted to quit during the last few reps of an exercise ? If so , please understand that we can’t let our mind make our body its b*tch for lack of a better word. We all have control over our bodies. We send the signal to our muscles to move but sometimes we abuse this right. There have been countless times where our body has shocked us. Where we reach our alleged “limit” because we think we are going to keel over and die, but somehow we find ourselves moving, breathing and pushing past what we thought was the end of the road.
The problem is that we spend hours in the gym training our body but forget to train our minds. We tend to justify excuses in our minds, we create alternate realities, some of our thoughts are complete b.s. and there is no one there to check us. We have to start training ourselves to believe and trust in our physical capabilities because our physical tolerance is a lot higher than what we perceive it to be mentally. So right when u reach the point where you want to quit during an exercise....Don't. Keep Going. Our physical limits are breakable. Even if it just means pushing for 5 more seconds, u are now stronger than u were 5 seconds ago. Limit BROKEN. 💪🏾

this is something i have strived to do since the start of sharing my own journey on this platform. i don’t do it for likes, stuff, “popularity” or anything like that. i’ve tried to make my message and purpose very clear through my page and who i am. i never want to 💩 post just for likes. i never want to do things just because it’s “what’s in” right now.
i want to make a freaking impact on this industry and give it something it really needs. no bull crap. not just another fit girl who posts pics of her butt for likes. i’ve often searched for what “my purpose” is and what i can share to be different. and that thing is just being me. remaining true to myself and you guys has always been my goal. bringing valuable content and messages to the stage and not caring about what others have to say about me or what i “should do”. building friendships and family out of those who share the same mindset as me.
I’m proud to say i am an @impakt__ athlete. i’m here to stand with those who want to make a change by just being real, raw, and building others tf up. this is a family.
