Last week at this time I was exploring the streets of LA. This week, it’s -12 and I can’t feel my face when I’m outside. The contrast is notable. The biggest issue I’m having on my return is with my skin. Sure the cold is bad in itself, but my skin is taking a beating.
I have 3 main issues throughout the winter with my skin:
1. My lips are basically dry all winter long and I haven’t been able to find something to hydrate them well. I’ve tried all the major brands but they tend to suck more moisture out as opposed to hydrating the way I need.
2. I’m also conscious of the moisturizers I’m using, and haven’t been able to find a good parables free one that isn’t super greasy- my skin is super sensitive and if I’m not careful my moisturizer will cause me to break out.
3. Most of the products I have been able to find are super expensive. I’m on the hunt for affordable all natural brands that are gentle on the skin.
As a result- the struggle is real. How about you guys? Do you have this issue during the winter? Do you have any go to products you swear by that I should try?
When I meditate and picture my “happy place” — this is where my mind goes ✨✌🏽I haven’t really opened up about it much, but I’ve suffered from pretty severe seasonal depression for almost a decade now (but I’ve known for only about 3 years) and it makes everything from getting out of the house, to waking up, to having day to day conversations just that much more difficult in the winter 💔😩 I seek so much happiness in the sunshine and on the hardest of days, I can’t help but to go through my camera roll and re-discover my happiest moments: the ones with clear blue skies and clear blue waters 🌊♥️
My IG is often all-smiles, jokes, and bikinis - and I like it that way. But sometimes... You guys know I was super excited to get back in the gym at full force yday. Not so fast. A trainer that harassed and catcalled me in the past was training a client there (it’s a private, resident-only gym) and decided to put his bench 5 inches from mine (we were the only ppl in the gym). I said something. It escalated to him getting in my face and threatening me. I’m OK and (hopefully) my building is dealing with it as it’s all on camera, but I wish I said something about him sooner Bc every workout with him around the past few months was a nightmare. But I was afraid he was going to lose his job instead of considering my own safety and comfort. 💋

📍 Bolstadnosi, Luster.
🏔 Fløyen и Ulriken, Bergen.
I hate stereotypes. I don't mean just cultural and sexist ones. Stereotypes go beyond that.
I hate it when people assume you're dumb because you're goodlooking, when people assume that you're sad because you're single, or that you're easy because you drink.. We're complicated, multidimensional and unique in our own way.
Stop categorising people. We are more than our financial status, our house, our makeup, our jobs, our hometowns, our relationship status, our habits; we're ever-growing and ever-changing.
prob not supposed to play favorites but.... one of my favorites from last year 🙃
a little reminder that i only shoot a handful of weddings each year, but it is my absolute honor to document celebrations outside the cis white hetero homogeneity of the wedding industry
accessibility matters! QTPOC slide into my DMs for sliding scale rates 💘
WOW. I think Maroon 5 was wrong because I am seeing a hell of a lot of rainbows and butterflies lately.

“I’ve died a thousand deaths, each time reinventing myself brighter, stronger, and purer than before. From the midst of destruction, I became the creator of myself. From the midst of darkness, I became my own source of light.” — Cristen Rodgers
The crescendo of the Rise of Phoenix (鳳凰重生) storytelling through fashion series. The phoenix burst into flames, consumed by the fire. All of the grief, all of the suffering she carries with her will be engulfed by the fire and turns into ashes where she will be re-birthed.🔥🔥 I was so burned out toward the end of 2018, both physically and creatively. I want to create something different and unique and different from all the posts I have done in the past and this series really allowed me to push myself and challenge myself. I hope you all loved this and thank you for all your kind comments. 📷: @munopia (edited by me) #storytellingphotography#fashioneditorial#bysheree

Why do you travel? Is it to experience a new culture, make new memories, see beautiful places?
While those are all reasons why I love to travel, I think that what brings me the most joy when traveling is that it grows my faith.
That might seem odd or unlikely, but seeing how God created the earth and all the uniquely beautiful places and people on it just leaves me in awe! And that is something that I treasure completely!
This is one such place- it's right outside of Boulder. If you're traveling to Colorado, you can just take Baseline road all the way up Flagstaff mountain until you reach this spot, Gross Reservoir 🙂

Jaipur is a fantasy, unlike any other place in the world. Known as the Pink City thanks to its salmon-hued facades, Rajasthan´s capital city is a true feast for the senses.
It´s dusty, chaotic, terribly noisy but still incredibly charming. Jaipur is a mélange of colour and vibrance that enthralls, mystifies, and seduces all at once 💫💙
Twirling into the weekend like... oh wait it’s Wednesday 🤪

Amazed by the beautiful colors of Cappadocia 💛 Cappadocia is part of the modern Turkish republic and a major tourism hub. The name 'Cappadocia' is derived from the Persian word 'Katpaktukya' which is translated as 'the land of beautiful horses'. 🐎⠀

There’s beauty in ruins. Especially in the ruins of Hospital San Nicolàs de Bari which is the first hospital in the New World. 🏨 I’ve finally finished putting together my Dominican Republic travel guide. Swipe up in stories or just click the link in my bio! ☺️ @godomrep#godomrep#ad
