Never really hiked before so decided to start off small 👀 officially completed the Tongariro Alpine crossing yesterday, 19.4km - 8 hours of hiking (and sight seeing) and wow was so worth it!! Can see why it’s rated the best day hike in the world!

Can’t believe I completed the Tongariro crossing yesterday.
19.4km - 8 hours of hiking. So proud of myself as I don’t really have any hiking experience (especially hiking mountains) so was a bit nervous about taking on this hike but wow, I’m so glad I did!
Being a huge lord of the rings fan I couldn’t come to New Zealand without tackling Mount Doom 😁 muscles are aching today but was so worth it 💗
Ribera del Duero is full of small towns to get lost in. And you will always find something that surprises you... a small church, a lovely square or medieval castillo sitting on the top of the hill... 🏰

In between arriving in Marrakech and going to a hammam, we wandered the Médina. We were almost run over by electric scooters, we smelled spices, bartered over goods, and only got a little lost. Very successful beginning.

Peaceful morning spent watching all the colourful kayaks go by. Can’t wait to get on the water myself 😊
Channeling my best Queen Dido (and subsequently losing all shreds of cool in reciting Ancient Roman mythology and making sure everyone’s real clued up on Virgil’s Aeneid. Year 13 Classics finally coming through for me) 🇹🇳 📸: @millimidwood
Hanging out with the Copenhagen 🇩🇰 little mermaid. The sister of the Syrenka or mermaid of Warsaw 🇵🇱 . .
Interestingly it was commissioned by the Carlsberg group- you know the beer company, because of his love of Hans Christian Andersen’s story that he saw at the ballet . How neat!
