This is a photo of a huge array of Nuptze I made from a helicopter when we flew very close to the mountain. Giant, hanging from its slopes glaciers and a steep wall almost under 90° - all this affects you very much when you see it at a distance of several hundred meters from you

We went on a hike this afternoon after a short rest. I can’t get over the beauty of the Himalayas. It is amazing, just so gorgeous. Every direction is breathtaking. The sun was warm enough for us to hike without jackets even at 2 degrees. What an afternoon.
Imagine the sun glinting off the golden roof of a beautiful medieval Buddhist temple. In the distance, you can see the mighty Himalayan mountains sparkle in the early morning light as prayer flags flutter above you. You are surrounded by a wonderful sense of calm as you take in the awe-inspiring sights of Nepal. Tourists from all over flock to this beautiful South Asian country to experience this unique sense of peace and see some of the world’s most beautiful natural landscapes. Nepal is a country that is known for its immense warmth and hospitality. A simple “Namaste” (the most common greeting) will immediately bring you a thousand smiles. Folk culture runs deep in Nepalese culture.

Part 2/4: Everest - The Summit Climb.
From the south summit to the top of the Hillary Step, raw and unfiltered. For two months, I visualized this sequence. I mentally mapped out and prepared what it would take to shoot everything I needed, chase the team up Everest and ensure I was able to create the images I wanted without slowing anyone down or putting anyone including myself at risk. This is a carefully coordinated effort based on trust and performance between the guides, Sherpas and I. Our expedition leaders Michael Horst and @vern.tejas coordinated the entire operation and permitted me to do what I do. With their help and the support of @sherpapk and our Sherpa team, along with the cast, we were able to bring these images back from the mountain. When shooting there is a constant honest internal dialogue with myself happening as I know my limits and always recognize that I need to push when necessary, but always keep enough in the reserve to get down safely. Team effort all the way!
Be kind to one other. Stay happy and keep travelling. ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖
