In this week’s podcast interview, we dig into Dr. Michael Lennox’s journey of becoming a spiritual teacher, and the sacrifices he made to walk his path. This includes his deep inner work, and his devotion to daily practice. ⚡️
We get into what’s being asked of all of us in these chaotic times, and how to leverage what astrologists call our North Node. This is our destined path, and it shows up a little differently than the characteristics we know from our primary (sun) sign.
What if the current challenges our planet faces required each of us to step forward and put our unique skills to work— for the upliftment of humanity?
Dr. Michael Lennox makes me consider these possibilities as a reality, and then surrender to the challenge, and sacred responsibility of being a teacher. If you’re looking to own your voice, or to build a substantial income as a spiritual teacher, you need to hear this.

Meet Annie✨: 31 y.o. living in North County, San Diego in the cutest hippy, beach town named Encinitas🙌🏼. I’m a third grade teacher by day, gym member by evening. I’ve been sober for 2+ years, which has been the most rewarding and equally hardest thing I’ve ever done. I strive to live a healthy lifestyle- mind, body, and soul. Some other interests include yoga, personal development, hiking, and dipping in the ocean as often as possible. #sandiego#encinitas#teacher#soberliving#yoga#hiking#fitness#gym#ocean#okinawa#phillipinesea@anniep_arker

The things that break us are the same ones that help us become greater than we are. Pain has the power to make us more compassionate, better able to see the beauty in others, and more willing to grant grace. What is more lovely than someone who has those qualities? Blessings,
Two seminars in one day with @enlightened_savage_101 and @wescollins.training what could be any better?! The first seminar will be the fundamentals on breathing, loading the core, and using the lower half of the body. The second seminar will be covering shoulders, upper back, and neck. This type of seminar will be comprehensible for the everyday average Joe and still very informative for the average PT, trainer, or chiro. This seminar is a hands on, interactive setting so everybody FEELS what is being taught so they can apply it to themselves or others. See you May 4th. Link in bio!

Yoga can be a hugely beneficial practice, therapy, exercise and stress reliever.
But ... are you doing too much????
The range of the movement you are doing should only stay within your body’s neutral limits. What does that mean?
Keep the "canister" stacked by maintaining ribs over the pelvis and a neutral spinal position.
Coming out of the posture some while keeping the ribs and pelvis neutral, you can see relaxed erectors in the second picture. .
Also, notice there is no hyperextension in the lumbar.
Another key in the second picture is that the glute is full and rounded, acting ideally as a stabilizer.
Better positioning = better activation = pain free yoga.
More yoga posts, videos and fixes coming soon.
Stay centrated my Friends!
