Look at this dumb shit right here. I don’t know if I’d call the border situation an emergency. But child trafficking, drugs, and illegal crossings are pretty important. This however is bullshit because if that’s a real concern then where are all the pictures of the shooters in Baltimore, Detroit, Chicago, and mainly other inner cities?
We are pretty sure you have one a tournament or two by now. Enjoyed moments of success. We have all seen the team pictures, the smiles. Congrats! Now challenge yourself. Play up a level. That includes playing up from Silver to Gold level, etc or if you're 13 playing 12u, even 12u playing 12u open,etc.. Play up a level. The long term goal is to get better. Noone will remember who won any of these tournaments. It's about getting better!! You must be challenged. Keep finding ways to sharpen your insict and reactions. If you're feeling the game feels easy. Move up. Varsity level and moving forward you have to play up. Start this Spring. If it's one tournament or every other tournament. Push yourself and get out of your comfort zone. Because someone, somewhere is pushing themselves for greatness!! Take the challenge. Who's going to take the challenge?
Let’s get real, it’s easy to compare our lives to the ones we see on the internet but it’s so important to remember that social media is often a highlight reel 🎥 of just the good stuff. So before you get caught up in the clutter of comparison, remember to be kind to yourself. We know you’re doing your best. 💫

When self help guru's and motivational speakers say "everything you ever desire is on the other side of fear all you gotta do is walk through the door and blah blah blah yada yada yada ................this image perfectly illustrates the reality of change and becoming a different person and unlocking those hard to access doors in the mind.....it's fucking hard and takes fucking years!! But it's worth it #reality#selfcare#dontbelievethehype#wellbeing#patience#planning#performance

I’ve met so many people that fear vulnerability to the point that they make themselves hard and unyielding. I spent so much of my childhood hiding what I was going through with my troubled family that I was closed off to the full range of life experiences. Maybe in my older years I’ve overcorrected a bit, but I’d still rather own my past and faults openly than pretend my life is something it is not. Share your story, or don’t, but never let someone tell you what is too much or not enough. That is wholly up to you. #healatyourownpace#dontbelievethehype#divorce#divorcesucks#opinionsarenotfacts
London Fashion Week pulls it off again with wasteful gimmicks... 😎 Amidst all of the environmental and political protesting so far at this week's womenswear fashion week, the restaurant chain Harvester has created "eatwear", PVC outerwear that allows you to "eat whatever you want". It is frustrating that this sort of thing makes the headlines, though we do have to admit that these type of novelty acts can create a discourse. Though plastic use should of course be cut down, wipe clean clothing does actually make a good step towards lessening laundry consumption. Every action has pros and cons, and sustainable or ethical fashion is most definitely included here. You have to choose what is most suitable to your own values, to the products that you produce and accept slower progress for certain change to take place. While there are always 'styling-only' looks on the catwalk, these are generally used as advertisements to provoke curiosity and conversation. You never know what idea that sparks in someone - perhaps through this you'll create a better option for eatwear. 😀 ~~~ #londonfashionweek#LFW19#sustainablefashion#fashionrevolution#buylessbuybetter#changemaker#dontbelievethehype#sustainabletextiles#recycledpolyester#consumeless#fashionmarketing
The only time I’m going to look back is to see how far I have come.
To be honest, it took me years to get comfortable in my physique. It took me years to be placed in the top 5 in the NPC. How many years exactly? 15... 15 years... with competing, pageants, modeling, etc... 15 years. When I talk with girls just starting, I get so sad because I already know how discouraged they are going to get when they don’t get to their goals in 3 months to a year. Even though progress is made, some will still hate the body they are in because they didn’t get the instant gratification desired in such a short time as promoted by some popular trainer on some “fad diet”. Listen girl... if this is you, fucking love yourself. Stop comparing yourself to photos like this that are not your body. Stop comparing yourself to the failed attempts you don’t know about. Stop comparing yourself to people who lie. As a trainer, I vouch to the you the truth. You just gotta be willing to listen.

Social media, although it’s a wonderful place to connect with like-minded souls, is a place where we get lost in a web of illusions.
Too often, we compare ourselves to other people’s highlight reels/exaggerated illusions of success, happiness, fulfillment, and joy. We literally get depressed over photos and videos with filters and people laughing hysterically doing silly shit 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😃😃😃🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 (Just so you know, I’m not making in fun of people with clinical depression).
If you examined the lives of those you look up to and your friends who seem to always have a grand time, you’ll realized that their lives are not as “popping” as you thought it was.
The “fake it ‘till you make it” mindset is extremely toxic. We’re inadvertently teaching ourselves to suppress our emotions and put on a show in front of people because we’re afraid of being vulnerable. We’re afraid of being vulnerable because we judge others. And we judge others because we judge ourselves. Therefore, we are afraid to be raw and real because we don’t love ourselves enough to be authentic to us and the world at large.
I’ve got caught in that trap as well by living an exaggerated version of my life by putting on a show myself (and you’ve guys probably caught onto this, but y’all didn’t say anything 😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣😂🤣🤣😂). But when I went into serious hermit mode and unearthed the reasons why I was doing this, I was able to change my behavior in social media and be more raw and real with you guys 😌😇😊😊😊😊😆😆.
The link to the full video is in the bio! Enjoy!😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
So this is me. I'm Susan also known as Sooz. I'm a wife and a mother of 3. Mother of 7 if you count the cats🐱🐱🐱🐱. I work from home running my own business which isn't cleaning related, it's clothing related.
Now I don't live in a fabulously decorated home in fact my home is badly needing done. But we are hoping to move this year after some horrendous neighbour issues over the past 6 months, so I'm wondering if I'll just chuck a lick of paint on to brighten it all up?
I actually love cleaning, I get a proper feeling of accomplishment when I've got something looking brand new. I don't see it as a chore I see it as a way of not only keeping my home clean but also teaching my kids (and my husband) life skills. Apart from cleaning I adore crafts, I'd rather make something if I can than buy it. I love books and could quite happily shut the world off if I've got a good book to read. I'm a certified people watching geek lol.
Peace. Love and Jellybabies😘
Yeah I heard that there’s this Peruvian cactus that is clinically shown to help you lose weight’ ⠀
Huh? What? No. Just no. If there is one thing I STRONGLY URGE…⠀
Is to use the money spent purchasing this, and putting it to better use, maybe on the weekly shop or on gym clothes…⠀
Like how often have you spent your hard earned cash on these, only to lose a bit of weight and somewhere down the line get frustrated as the weight creeps back despite still taking what you are every day. ⠀
See the problem with these quick fix lotions, potions and pills is that they lack or have very weak research behind them which means for most of us they don’t do anything except burn a hole through our wallet.⠀
Not only that, but they don’t teach you the values that run alongside an awesome transformation plan. Values like dedication, being consistency and the rewards from hard work. ⠀
My honest advice? Ditch the fad supps, build some awesome food habits and get a kick-ass training plan so that you can look and feel incredible without breaking the bank!
People stop wasting your money on some of these “fancy coffee’s” off the internet ..... you may think you are getting a superior product because it is claimed to be “infused” with nutrients or supps BUT at the end of the day you are paying for an expensive cup of instant coffee 🤢🤢🤢🤢. I’ll take my espresso thanks which is like a warm hug in the morning - 🥰

<❤️This Valentine’s Day, show yourself some love. Even if it’s difficult. Even if you feel like you don’t deserve it. Even if no one else shows it to you — try your best to treat yourself with compassion and kindness. You’ve been beating yourself up for years and it’s gotten you nowhere. It’s kept you stuck, isolated you, and perpetuated your pain. So today, try something different. Today, treat yourself with love. Because you deserve it. Because you’re important and you matter. Because maybe someday, this love will become routine. Something you have the courage to allow yourself everyday and always. Because you are someone worth loving. And more than that, because you are worthy of your own love.> ✨ #DanielleKoepke ➖➖➖➖➖➖▪️▪️▪️ 🔴SUBSCRIBE TO MY YOUTUBE HEALING VORTEX OF LOVE & EXPLORE THE SELF CARE IS SACRED PLAYLISTS! Around the time Houston gave birth to the #GetoBoys, Before #UGK, before #DestinysChild
The juice put Houston on the map with 2 Grammy nominations 🤘🏾🔥🔥🔥 RockGod. Big Bro you are still one of my favorite artist, #RealTalk 👊🏾 Learn your #history, this is a man you must meet if your an up and coming artist in the H. Lot of #wisdom 🤔
Jones was born in Houston, Texas and raised in Harlem, New York.
Jones was the first musician signed to OBR Records, a subsidiary of Def Jam (which is now part of Universal Music Group) and thus the very first R&B artist ever to sign to, much more record, for a record label oriented towards rap and/or hip hop at a time when rap and R&B were two so completely separate entities that it was then considered practically an insult to associate any rap artists with any genre remotely resembling R&B, whose "soothing" sounds clashed with hip hop's rebellious edge. Jones's signing with Def Jam's OBR subsidiary signaled a partnership between the two genres that continued as of early December 2016.
His song "The Rain" became a hit in 1986, peaking at #9 on the Billboard Hot 100. It ranks him on VH1's top 100 One Hit Wonders of the 80's. He followed it with "How to Love Again," a duet with labelmate Alyson Williams.
Jones earned two Grammy nominations for "The Rain" and released two more albums, but failed to have significant follow-up success. Two of his children, his son Oran II, who has also gone by Mookie, and his daughter Perri, followed their father into the music business.
Please understand that THIS GOES FOR ME TOO. We put these people on Social media/celebrities on this pedestal and your basically stating that your not equal to this person. I am not this holier than thou person, on my righteous path I make errors I stumble I fumble but it’s through the acknowledgment of those errors that I am able to grow please understand that when your glorifying and worshipping these people you are seeing yourself as less than another person that bleeds just like you. You are Supreme and Divine just as much as they are believe that! A bunch of comments or people giving them compliments them having tons of “money” doesn’t make you any less, YOU ARE WORTH JUST AS MUCH. #dontbelievethehype#repost

13 months ago yesterday I was recovering in hospital after being cut open the length of my torso, having 4kgs of tumours removed, unclear about my cancer diagnosis, certain my competitive Crossfitying days were over.
Fast forward 3 months and I finished The 2018 CrossFit Open in 6th place worldwide (45-49). Fast forward another month and I finished The Masters Online Qualifier in 2nd place overall worldwide. Fast forward another 3 months and I finished The CrossFit Games in 1st place (my 3rd win). Who is to say what is possible and what is not. The human spirit is monumentally powerful and the capacity of the human body to heal, recover and overcome is beyond fathom.
We must be willing to try despite all evidence to the contrary, we must be willing try impossible things - all the time! We must be willing to believe in and work toward miracles as a way of life. Don’t let anyone dull your sparkle or scare you into avoiding the opportunities to explore your deepest capacities to overcome. The only way to avoid failure is not to try. Fuck that. Embrace failure. Seek failure. Use failure as a tool for success. The more failures you achieve, the closer you invariably move toward mastery and ‘success’.
I haven’t just survived my surgery and cancer scare, I’ve stepped up and up and up, over and over again.
It would have been so easy to give up, to just down tools and let my athletic career go...out of fear and simple gratitude I was willing to let it all go....but I’m built of some gnarly bricks and mortar, so I explored, listened to my body, played games with my mind and recovery, I let my body lead me and I tinkered with its capacities intuitively and carefully...one day at a time, no expectations.
The results speak for themselves....no doctor would have projected my rare flavour of recovery, as I lay in hospital post-op 13 months ago...shame they can’t envision such possibilities 🙏🏻
