4 Quotes that have changed my mentality🧠
1.) "Life is your gift from God, How you live your life is your gift TO God"💫
As a believer in God, I find this quote helps me with gratitude. Remembering the gift of life I have been given, gets me through the tough days and pushes me to live a life I am proud of. ⠀⠀
2.) "How you do one thing in life, is how you do everything" 💪🏻💥
The quote has helped me to focus on success in ALL areas of my life. Not just my attitude, my business, my relationships, but with EVERY aspect of my life. I remind myself that if I want to be successful I must do ALL things in life with love and commitment, even the things I don't favor.
3.) "If you always do what you've always done, then you'll always get what you've always gotten" ✨
This quote helps me with CHANGE. When I fear change and moving forward I remind myself of this quote. If you want different results you have to change your mentality, change your atmosphere and change your habits. If you want to grow you must accept change into your life!
4.) "Success is not a destination, you must continually create it, or it will not exist" 🌸⭐️
This quote is what gets me to get up and get going every day. It reminds me that success is a NOT destination, A place, A number or A thing. Success is the result of continuous acts repeated day in and day out.

Bueno...
The past few months I experimented with eating quite a lot more than I ever have (all clean) to support building up my lower body. Even with digestive aids I just could not process all that food well, so I’ve been reducing calories and feeling much better. ...
Point is, that no matter where you are with your nutrition, if you’re trying to reduce your daily caloric intake, it can feel challenging. Be diligent but also kind to yourself. Aim to have a better day than the one before and after a few days you’ll notice your habits and appetite shift. You will feel hungry at times. It’s not the end of the world. It will pass and you will get used to your new normal. Drink water, herbal teas, and the easiest way to cut calories while still filling your stomach is too eat lots of veggies. Get sufficient protein and lots of 🥬🥒🥦. ...
Also, if preparing meals every day is tough, when you prep one thing, do a lot of it! Food prep is just a fancy name for #leftovers 😉 ...
Roasted chicken and sweet potato, broccoli, and roasted brussels sprouts with balsamic maple glaze. 400 calories and I’m stuffed. 😊
All successes begin with self-discipline. It starts with you!🍑
Lauren is a a beautiful woman inside and outside. She started training with me 5 weeks ago, she is wanting to lose weight not only for herself, but for her upcoming wedding . She’s learning about and creating positive lifestyle habits that are truly transforming her life. She shows up every week, ready to work, sweats & we’ve even shed some tears of joy accomplishing things she has never even thought of. As of this weekend, she had a very exciting and personal success. Lauren started her program wearing a size 14 & within 5 weeks she has shed 4 inches & can now fit into a size 10 comfortably. -
Lauren your discipline is showing in your results. I can’t wait to see your 12 week transformation. Keep up the great work babe! I’m extremely proud of you & all your growth in the last few weeks. I truly enjoy training you & seeing you each week!!
FUN FACT: One of Lauren’s GOALS for 2019 was to hike 19 trails this years!
• Catastrophic Failure •
Discipline is mandatory.
habits and rituals are vital. •••••• HOWEVER •••••• sometimes we can get lost in our own systems, in the “how” we do it.
Today was that day for me. I am on the road, out of town and experiencing full blown catastrophic system failure.
-Hotel under construction
-I don’t know the area
-Gym is deconstructed
- heart rate monitor, no longer monitoring heart rate.
plenty of excuses today. -
My critic whispers.
• Definitely a justification for taking the day off, right? * I mean you do need to rest that knee.
* I mean you are a little sore.
* I mean anyone of these is good enough reason to quit, isn’t it? ————————————— Then I had a memory. A flashback if you will. To a time Long ago when I worked on an ambulance. -
We were transporting a patient in critical condition. The patient was strapped to the gurney in the back of our ambulance, lights and sirens blaring. We had him hooked up to monitors, oxygen and pulse sensors. We plugged in two IVs running fullbore as we ran stop lights and drive head on into on coming traffic. We were doing everything we could to keep this man alive. -
Want to see how it ends? -
apparently my story is too long for one post.

Make every second count towards your dream. Make sure you're running at it everyday. If you're not hammering away at it every single day, it can easily slip away. Make the very most of this moment.
On episode 4 of the Wake Up Wealthy Podcast I interview @mikeytaylor
This has been my favorite episode to date, such a rad dude who brings tons of value to the table
Mikey has a very long career as a pro skater, has exponentially expanded his wealth through the vehicle of real estate, and has built a ton of different brands leading to successful exits
This is a MUST LISTEN
Be sure to share the episode with at least one person and follow my dude @mikeytaylor
"A clear vision, backed by definite plans, give you a tremendous feeling of confidence and personal power."
"Resilience without discipline or perseverance achieves nothing." Anyone can say that they are committed when it comes to change, but when push comes to shove is it really true?
When the going gets tough, do you hold yourself accountable and push forward?
There are people that I consider to be ‘inspirational’. I find that the quotes they post, the experiences and blogs that they share and what they have achieved continue to guide me in the direction of the goals that I would like to achieve.
But it is not as simple as setting out the path and walking in that direction, there will be storms, there will be obstacles and there will be setbacks. And that is why when I reflect on the stories of those that have achieved great things; I am most inspired by the times when they faced trials, and what they had to do to overcome these.
ANYTHING that you are passionate about takes work, it’s inevitable, and that is what makes the experience worth it when you get to the finish line. "Self discipline is an act of cultivation. It requires you to connect today's actions with tomorrow's results. There's a season for sewing and a season for reaping. Self discipline helps you know which is which period"
