Low-budget, cheap, college appropriate, Kya-styled recreation of a 90s inspired look 😁
I was inspired by the 90s today! For the lips I went with this Kate Moss look from 1992 and for the rest of my face (with slight adjustment on the eyes, because I don't like it too bare), I was inspired by this photoshoot of various models by Peter Lindbergh in 1998.
I mix like 3 lipsticks to get the consistency just about the one I wish to look like. Probably not the most accurate but, well... I tried (3 times! I keep redoing it!!). Mixed my brown eyeshadow with a bit of dark grey so it's a bit /there/ to see. As I said, I don't like my eyes to be too bare.
And uh, no... I don't do my brows. I never does (you can probably see).
Not a make up person. But, I love doing (arguably) outrageous things just for the heck of it. 🤘
Just wanted to say hey to those new here & pass along a lil info about myself. I’m Marc, a graphic designer & photographer based in Minneapolis. My main background is in photography & digital media. Currently I’m working on building & expanding my graphic design portfolio & featuring a lot of that work here - esp as I pick up new design skills. Visual Design is something I’ve done for years but I’m just now offering my services and doing it professionally. Will be excited to have a site up within the next few weeks. Tho I have a lot of converging & divergent areas of interest, my main areas of interest are with designs for tech, electronic music, vr, gaming, ecosystems and anything having to do with futurism. Anyway welcome to my space! I try to post daily so check back often 👋🙃

So I had no clue how to do ol girl’s jacket BUT I feel like it’s good enough for now. Lol.
This scene is from Season 8, episode 5 of my favorite show EVER, The Cosby Show, named “Warning: A Double-Lit Candle Can Cause a Meltdown.” #thecosbyshow#art#90sinspired#rudyhuxtable#90s
this little pouch is probably one of my favorite things I’ve made ever, it’s inspired by 90s stick on earrings sets (something very nostalgic for me and close to my heart) and it was so much fun to make. just looking at it makes my heart happy !! it’d make a great one of a kind gift for a friend or treat for yourself !!
