Opted for a 20 min stretch session this morning.
Two factors decided this... 1. I’m S O R E AF! I woke up stiff and could hardly get out bed.
2. I had one of those dreams that just seem too real and I woke up drained mentally and physically.
I needed to re-center myself and stretch out everything today more than I needed leg day.
So here I am stretching out every little muscle.

Schedules have been crazy for my husband and I long days , late days , crazy days but you know why it was all okay ! I was prepared , I had it all laid out last Sunday for how to make my week work ! I knew what days I needed to be up even earlier than normal to fit my workouts in ! My nutrition was prepared prepped and planned so no excuses no last minute what do we eat - because that’s when crap food eating happens ! It’s not just the workouts that take hard work , in fact your lifestyle and your nutrition are the truly hardest parts you will work on ! Your workout is a small part of your day - yes you push hard and give it hell and it should test you and push you , you should struggle and overcome ! 2 workouts today. The second one was a doozie. My legs feel like rubber bands and my core is oh so sore. But I got this and so can you. Overcome your mental barriers and start pushing yourself to try new things and hard things. You may just surprise yourself.

It’s amazing what eating right and working out will do for your body. Obviously I teach classes during the week, so I end up working out 4/5 days, but nothing like this. And eating right? Nope, that hasn’t happened for a hot minute. But I am SO grateful I decided to take this journey for myself. I am so excited to see where it takes me and just how far I can push myself!
I’ve wanted to cheat, oh wow I have wanted to cheat. But I haven’t. I’ve wanted to slack, to modify, to take shortcuts.. but I haven’t. I know if I just keep pushing, just keep saying yes, this will all become habit. I’m falling back in love with taking care of myself.
2019 should be the year of doing something for yourself - do something for YOU, and only YOU 💕

YOOOOOOOOOO I’m reaching my booty goals one day at a time🍑👏🏻🙌🏽 I’m in the very early stages of focusing on my glutes in workouts, however I believe it’s starting to pay off a bit. (:
The key is lifting hella heavy and eating hella protein!!! You gotta fuel your body while also squatting, lunging, and doing some dead lifts with heavy weights. It’s def not easy and I know it will take TIME, ENERGY, and CONSTANT EFFORT!!

Pro tip!! If you’re going to go on a date night with the hubs, make sure you get your workout in before he decides that he’s hungry! Especially if you had been planning on allowing yourself a treat meal!
I definitely felt a bloated and a little gross, but I still got it done!! Thursday’s are typically the days that I end up messing up and skipping my workout, then over the weekend while I’m working I use work as an excuse to not do them then either! And that is how I get off track, never get back on track, and ultimately end up having to restart after a week of beating myself up... That’s not what’s happening this time though! This time, I’m planning and making sure I have time to get my workout in! I’m putting my heath first! I’m worth it!
Air baked the crispiest butternut squash and zucchini noodles to go along with dinner tonight! Lightly seasoned with garlic sea salt and lemon pepper.
Trying to get in as many fruits, veggies, and lean proteins in as possible to recover from the last few weeks of holiday celebrations and nights out.

Donut get me wrong, I’m still going to indulge in decadent treats here and there but I refuse to go back to the lifestyle I once lived this past year. Never paying attention to what I was eating, always telling myself “I’ll start on Monday”.. not putting ME first in general. Those days are long gone.
I always get so excited the start of a new year. So many wonderful opportunities, new goals to crush, new dreams to turn into reality.
Almost feels like anything is possible.
The key is believing that it is.

Raw and Real!! I've posted this before, but I feel like we need to be reminded that loose skin should NEVER be the reason we don't lose weight. I will take this loose skin over and over instead of being 304LBS!! Do I love the way I look naked? Hell no!! Do I hate it? Absolutely!! I wouldn't go back to how I felt at 304LBS just to get rid of the loose skin. I can love myself, but not love the loose skin. Will I get surgery to remove it? Hopefully one day I'll have the finances to do so, if not it's not the end of the world. If you are overweight and are worried about the loose skin, don't be. I promise you will feel sooooo much better with having loose skin vs being overweight. #looseskin#bajardepeso#sisepuede

The girl on the far left was me this year in late August. I had bought “fat” pants... and then I grew out of them. The FAT pants wouldn’t fit!!! 😩
It was time for some serious changes.
I started with nutrition first - and landed second girl from the left after a month. I still didn’t feel quite like myself so I added in fitness. And over 3 months I achieved these results.
I haven’t looked like this since spending 2 or more hours everyday in the gym at CrossFit. Don’t get me wrong - CrossFit is amazing and will always have a special place in my heart. However this stage of my life with kids, and their practices, and 12 hour shifts, and travel just does not allow me to maintain any consistency in getting to the gym. So I adopted an at home program that seriously shocked me with the results and changed my whole outlook on fitness.
I’m super thrilled to be hitting New Years on this side of things rather than the usual feeling of having gained weight through the holidays. I post these as an encouragement to you all! Where could you be in just 3 or 4 months with some consistency? How different could your life look by the time April rolls around?
I don’t sell any products, I’m not a coach of any kind - but I can tell you that these things worked for me. Ready to hit 2019 strong and keep things rolling!

So I stole this from @mrfrenchfitness but it’s too good not to share!! So many people ask me how long it’s taken me to get to where I am now, and let me tell you...it’s taken me a LONG time. Weight loss is not meant to be quick and easy!! I am coming up on my one year mark on the 21st of January. Holidays were rough and we moved right after Christmas so i gained a few pounds but I got right back on track and am back to where I want to be. This is a forever process! Find patience in your journey. It’s okay to mess up a few times, just get back up and keep moving forward. Don’t get discouraged. It is HARD. This is unlike anything I ever post but I just wanted to share my health journey and how proud of myself I have been. I know some don’t do New Years Resolutions but in my opinion I try to set one for myself every year and getting my health in check is one of them. // I started 80 Day Obsession because I hate going to the gym and dealing with a crowd so with this I am able to do my workouts at home and I’m lead by @autumncalabrese in videos every day. What’s better than that?! // With that being said, I have a long way to go but hunny I’m on my wayyyy! 💪🏻💓 also, I’m pale so leaving now to go get sprayed 😜
