This gorgeous black and chrome 55 chevy recieved our 2 step correction to bring life back to this battered paint. Filled with marring, swirls, and heavy defects we removed all problems as far as we could without jeopardizing the paints clearcoat. Then the paint was topped with our 1 year paint sealant, and our signature paste wax to give this paint a nice warm glow!

Does anybody realize what life is while they're living it- every, every minute?” .
Sinatra played the Stage Manager in a television version of Thornton Wilder's ‘Our Town’, starring Paul Newman and Eva Marie Saint. One of the songs introduced in it, Sammy Cahn and Jimmy Van Heusen's "Love and Marriage," would win an Emmy and become one of Sinatra’s biggest hits.
The show was praised by television critics, although several writers have questioned Sinatra's suitability for the role of the Stage Manager. Thornton Wilder reportedly disliked the production.
Took this this past October. Recently heard the news about the Oogie Boogie Bash.. I'm actually going back in October (again) with my family. We were going to buy tickets for MNSSHP but guess that's out! Either way, I'm excited for the trip and it'll be fun regardless. Always happy to be back home. 🏰💕
So yesterday was 5years since my dad's passin,it still feels like yesterday I honestly cry daily from missing him so much. I hear people say"you will feel his presence,he's watching over us etc.."not true 5 years and I'm still waiting for any of those moments idk if I'm trying to hard to feel these moments and I'm just not sensing them but it's not fair he was too young I'm so angry that our"heavenly father"took him m so suddenly we didn't get to say goodbye we didn't get to prepare or plan for anything he was just ripped from our lives I have no closure just this huge void in my heart and life. I love and miss you so much it hurts please visit me in my dreams or send me a sign I need you daddy...😢💔🙏😇 #daddysgirlforever#missingyou#1955 -2014 #heartbroken#gonebutnotforgotten#thispainisreal#jerrylelandwoodward#aka "bumper" #daddy2me
Really fun selection of things picked from the piles this week. First, a pair of Pancho’s glasses from the #Pepsi Collector Series. No Pancho’s branding on them, which makes them a bit unusual and unlike a lot of the other Pepsi series glasses. Next, a #MiltonBradley “Aptitude Tested” puzzle, complete, from #1955 . So often these puzzles have blunted and turn corners from being assembled and disassembled many times over by little hands, but this one is still sharp and bright. Then, we have a “Gold Seal Edition” of Parcheesi from #1964 by Selchow & Righter. Complete and in splendid shape, apart from a small tear in the box. And finally, perfectly suited to the season, I found a #1974 copy of The Children’s #Bible on #PeterPanRecords . I actually had a later edition of this album, and loved it. This edition features a full-color pull-out book with comic-style illustrations to follow with the stories. The 2-record set covers both Old & New Testament and ends, fittingly, with the Resurrection and Pentecost. #thriftstorefinds#vintage#classictoys#boardgames
#OTD Albert Einstein, German-American physicist, engineer, and academic, who developed the theory of relativity, one of the two pillars of modern physics (alongside quantum mechanics). He is best known to the general public for his mass-energy equivalence formula E = mc2, which has been dubbed "the world's most famous equation". He received the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics "for his services to theoretical physics, and especially for his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect". (Born: 1879), dies on this day in Princeton, New Jersey, U.S., aged 76.
Marilyn Monroe photographed holding the first photograph taken of her and fan, James Haspiel, in New York City, 1955. It really warms my heart to see how happy, and proud she is to be holding the photograph. Honestly, such a rare thing, too- to have a photograph of Marilyn Monroe HOLDING A PHOTOGRAPH of the two of you!! I can only imagine, and dream. 😭😿🥀💕
Teddy Boy Paul in 1950-1960s.
also some information about this subculture:
Although Teddy Boys became associated with rock and roll music, prior to the advent of that genre, Teddy Boys mainly listened and danced to jazz and skiffle music. A well-known dance that the Teddy Boys adopted was The Creep, a slow shuffle that was so popular with Teddy Boys that it led to their other nickname, Creepers. From 1955, Rock and Roll was adopted by the Teddy Boys when the film Blackboard Jungle was first shown in cinemas in the UK, and Teddy Boys started listening to artists like Elvis Presley, Bill Haley and Eddie Cochran.🐻
