"After hanging out with a few hundred photographers on the 42th St Bridge and coming up bust on a great shot of the #Manhattanhenge , I decided I would strike out on my own the next day. I ended up in the posh end of Brooklyn, Dumbo and asking myself, “how can I get a shot that hasn’t been taken a thousand times before by someone else?” Just then the water splashed and ideas were born. What made it memorable was after laying with my face in the sand and pebbles of the beach to get this shot, I stood up to get the funniest looks and heard someone say, “oh she’s a photographer.” I blushed and then laughed when I realized it must have looked pretty awkward from their view. haha I then thought, what wouldn’t a photographer do to get the perfect shot? Then went back to patiently planning and capturing more shots with a smile on my face." - @P_Soappman#MyFujifilmLegacy
