I’ve always enjoyed long exposure photography, the intentionality of slowing life down just enough to really appreciate what’s right in front of you. On this occasion we took 30 seconds to capture this single frame of a gorgeous snow covered morning spent in @canmorekananaskis.

We had the whole lake to ourselves while the snow softly fell. It’s amazing how peaceful even the popular places can be if you go at the right time!
Excited to spend the week up here at Lake Louise! Looks like we’ve timed it perfectly and should have a front row seat to watch winter transform these familiar landscapes! @fairmontcll

I’ve always had this dilemma of loving to shoot landscapes but always really enjoying portraiture as well. For as long as I’ve been shooting I’d try to capture stunning scenery but would always want to shoot portraits of my friends who would join in on the adventures. I learned to love these places, these moments out exploring, but in all honesty they wouldn’t be nearly as memorable without the fantastic friends I get to enjoy them with. So I’ll keep clicking, capturing the people AND the places, in an attempt to share the beauty of both with you all. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
