"Not unlike lines on a map, contours that give a landscape depth and beauty - lines on a face are evidence of a life deeply lived, contours of a long and unique existence. This lady lived beside the Gompa in the small and remote Nepali village of Dojam. She had no English, but through a translator we learnt she was about 80 years young and if those dancing eyes are anything to go by, still full of life! Shot whilst on an exploratory trek in NW Nepal with @worldexpeditions" - @lachlan_gardiner

"I was blessed to experience a few moments of stillness with this beautiful Cheetah whilst it awaited its meal at De Wildt Cheetah and Wildlife Centre in South Africa. This Cheetah is one of nearly a thousand that have been raised at the centre, all of whom have played a pivotal role in the removal of the species from the list of endangered animals in South Africa, whose numbers reached as low as 700 in 1975 when the centre first opened." - @theshuttercount

“A mecca for Astrophotography, my first visit to Catherine Hill Bay Pier didn’t disappoint.
Whilst conditions weren’t perfect, a setting 20% moon provided some nice light to work with.
I noticed reflections of the pier were being thrown as the water receded, so I pushed the tripod legs in deep into the sand and waited for the next wave….” - @mickloxleyphotography

“I’ve given myself a challenge of taking a photo everyday with my Canon camera. After work Monday’s light gave me the opportunity to shoot the new stunt show at Sea World. I used the shadows of the ramps to put myself where I needed to be to get the silhouette of the riders when the action started. Another perfect winter’s day on the Gold Coast.” - @damnrightmyphoto

“This image was shot in Tasmania during a stay on a farm where the herd live. I visited the cows each day and the more I went to them the more they got used to me and the more inquisitive they got.” - @briankinson
