I was charity-shamed today after refusing to donate to some random charity for kids. The charity collector, a cute girl in her teens, looked at me as if I was a child molester before commenting on how it was too bad I didn’t want to help sick kids.
I wanted to tell her that she’s was a mean person and a manipulator, but I guess I still didn’t learn how to stand up for myself.

The final photograph from our series w/ @jackdaniels_de. Looking back, it’s crazy to see that what started as a simple Instagram collaboration turned into multiple photo and video projects.
To say that we’ve learned a lot from this year-long experience would be an understatement. Above all, it has taught us the importance of believing in the story, values, and people behind the brand you are working with.
It was a fun ride. Thank you all for joining along.

I remember taking a shot from this exact place three years ago when I first arrived to Hamburg.
A lot has changed since, for better or for worse. Nowadays I come here only by accident. Photography-wise, I feel like I am not motivated to shoot it anymore.
But when I do, I get reminded why I'm here and how it all started. It's a pleasant feeling, almost romantic.

It’s PhotoBeerWalk time! For the last walk of 2018, we are taking you to Sachsenwald, the most beautiful forest north of the Amazon. The plan is to enjoy the changing autumn colors and find interesting perspectives — whether it’s portraits, landscapes, or cliché leaf shots. We are working on a few surprises to boost your creativity, but more on that later.
Please keep in mind that the forest doesn’t hide any kiosks so plan your drinks in advance. As always, we will do our best to keep you fuelled with some Croatian homemade šljivovica. To help us estimate the dosage, please register on the Facebook event (link in bio). We will be posting all additional updates there.
As always, everyone is welcome to join regardless of photo skills, religious beliefs, or current tax bracket.
See you next Sunday,
Boris & Sandro
P.S. If you feel like a model (or happen to know one) and would like some photos for your Linkedin profile, feel free to send us a DM.

Scrolling through Instagram photos, I imagined Strasbourg as a cute but boring town, similar to Colmar or Annecy. From my experience, those fairytale-looking places have a tendency to be beautiful but uneventful, almost like walking through a giant museum.
But Strasbourg was everything but boring. Full of young people and street life, it had some cool Spanish vibe to it, despite the not-so-Spanish temperatures. So, if you happen to know any cute (and smart, clearly) girls from the area, please tag them in the comments. I would love to find a reason to revisit.

I like to see photography as an equation with infinitely many solutions. As with all art, there isn’t such thing as right or wrong, it is only a subjective representation of your knowledge, current mood, and experience. If I had to give one advice to people starting with photography, it would be to go out and practice, even when you think there is nothing more to shoot. Creativity isn’t a gift from the sky, it is something that is learnt by hard work and stepping outside your comfort zone.

The perfect symmetry. When the sun sets and people clear out, Louvre shines in its full beauty. The only thing that’s missing is the stars. Luckily, on the 8th day, God created @photoshop.

I imagined this caption as a quick test of my creative writing. The idea was to write a short story about the first thing that comes to my mind when I look at this photo. 20 minutes later, and nothing has come to mind. Well then, have a nice weekend.

There is nothing more satisfying than finding new perspectives in familiar places.

The ultimate staged autumn photo. The good old Speicherstadt and one of the finest Hamburg handpicked leaves.
Haters will say that we are reposting a photo taken last autumn, but let he who is without sin cast the first stone. 🙏

In my three years in Norway, I can say that I experienced most of its trademark terrible weather. Snow in May, darkness, frostbites, and falling on ice regularly. No matter how bad it would get, with proper clothes and attitude you can get used to all of it. Or that's at least what I thought before this particular morning in Ålesund, when my phone showed exactly 1 degrees Celsius. Now, that doesn't sound too dramatic, but the problem was — it was the middle of summer. Norway, we've had our fun, but this I will never forgive you.
P.S. This is the longest exposure I’ve ever taken. There was no need to go for 850 seconds (over 14 minutes), but I started chatting with a random guy who approached me and figured why not giving it a try.
