Art washes the dust of everyday life, nature is my source.. I was wandering in the middle of night, the mood in sky over the rhyolite mountains was so gloomy and snowy meanwhile the last rays of midnight sun were heating the abstract mountains range into the valley.

Since I leave everything behind me and decide to wander in immersion alone in nature ... People surrounding me always asked me ... What were my motivations ?! I think just the desire to photograph nature but it wasn’t my first leitmotif ... I think also people don’t realize all the investment that entails. Because between envy and facts many parameters come into play. The weather whims, living conditions, camping equipment, its weight and its organization, manage tiredness, intensity of effort and rest periods between treks, food, water supply depending on camp location ... many parameters determines the success. I think the hardest thing is to find the strength in yourself to face the elements even if sometimes everything becomes very complicates .. What you feel when you live for several days or weeks immersed in such an environment allows the return to the roots, a return in the primary state where nature becomes your only and unified source of inspiration. The inhibitory effect gradually invades your spirit and allows you to be in harmony with the world around you and to find your soul. Everything is pure and becomes the evidence ... the artificial world and dummy life in which we evolve disappears into the abyss. This feeling is decuple when you wander at night ... Especially when the moon highlights what is normally imperceptible. These ephemeral atmospheres have become like an obsession because they allow to create moods of reveries. What is better to feel alive and access to the feeling like... the world is yours 🤫

Would like to join me in Patagonia next year ? Just grab me a message 😉
It's been a while I didn't post here .. I’m just back to the civilisation after one month of hiking, climbing, guiding, exploring and living alone in the enchanted forest of Patagonia. The wifi was not inclued sorry guys ^^ Here my first picture from a long series I hope.. Vision that I was dreaming to immortalize for long.
The story behind the scene would be too long and maybe not appropriate to develop here and keep the dream alive.
Nothing right, nothing wrong .. I'm just this guy in love with such places where emanates purity and strong feeling like fairytale and just wish to keep it real.
This autumn fall the classic trails of los glaciares park in Argentina were pretty busy of photograpers ... and the nature has been much damaged. I’ve even saw one of these nature photographers put his shit at just 2 meters from a river and then leave its napkins on the ground 🤬🤯
The actual world is like this ... Some of them are ready to do anything to gratify their egos and really don’t care about the nature that allows them to shine 🤷🏻♂️🤮 Since I started to hike .. I’m always wandering into the wild in the idea to feel connected and be in harmony with the world surrounding me, world where I can face myself and find my quiet soul. Where I feel so tiny and humble each times. I realize the chance I have to be able to contemplate its beauty and how this world is fragile.
Please respect our nature guys, this is not only a playground for photographers looking for postcards ✌🏼 Anyway! I also had the chance to meet some amazing people very responsive.. as local as from around the world :) Some good news on the way! Stay tuned ... It was the last day of my trip, I was waiting down the valley for a while to have an opening, I was still hesitating, I was looking to the top like an obsession, I was overthinking... Do I have to hike to finish in the clouds again and back down with nothing? Suddenly a droner’s gang came to park an army of defender’s nearby me ... I was enjoying the idea to have real challengers and decided to hike towards the summit like a marathon one hour before the midnight sunset! Meanwhile I was reaching the top ... I just heard a game of drones symphony above my head and realize once again how is good to feel alive with the feet on the ground and the head in the clouds whatever the weather 😉
Ps: I have nothing against drones .. It’s just about feeling 😘

In the shadow of light... It was midnight, the last rays of sun caress the Rhyolites mountains of Landmannalaugar. 5 minutes later I was engulfed by local snowstorm 🤷🏻♂️ If you want to get the opportunity to explore unvisited places and learn more about my photographic vision.. Just contact me 😊

Here an image from my last annual trip in Icelandic highlands. The feet on the ground, the head in the clouds describes rather well my personality ;)
I was immersed in the mass when suddenly an apparition comes to unveil its beauty like a gift from mother nature. Midnight sunrise taken around 3 pm 😉

I was dreaming to highlight this scenery with such conditions for long .. This place is very special for me coz I lived in small farmer village nearby for many winter months when I was working as a glacier guide on Svinafellsjokull glacier. Reynivellir village is the closest place where you can stay around glacier lagoon.. Only 10 mn drive. Now I used to stay there with my guests during my photo tours. You can just feel privileged to be able to enjoy the glacier view each day from the cottage balcony 🤩
